Saturday August 7 2021
Another area of Low Pressure is ready to move in from the south. The overall region will be cloudy, but the rain will be more of a coastal thing.
Some of the rain will reach southern Maryland to near Baltimore, but most of will fall on Delmarva and the beaches.
Farther west, should be dry. Then we get set for high heat next week.
My Maryland Trek 8 team is heading to Garrett County today, to begin our week long event on Sunday morning. I plan to post weather updates here every morning, but my focus will be on road crossing state. I hope you follow our mission and stories of the Power Kids each day.
As of Saturday Morning, we have raised over $56,000 for Just In Power Kids. THANK YOU!!!

Rain Today: Afternoon Snapshot
That coastal system will spread a veil of steady rain later today, which will drop temps in the path.
The rain may reach Baltimore, but more likely around Annapolis to Southern Maryland and crossing the Bay Bridge to Delmarva.
The beaches will get very wet!
Saturday 4 PM to Sunday 4 AM
Heavy rain between 1 and 3 inches on the Lower Eastern Shore.

Sunshine State Of Mind
I am done with the cold and snow (for the season). I am embracing my wife’s mantra of Sunshine State of Mind.
This was designed by Shannon Berk and we will be wearing it through spring and to the beach.
Double Benefit: Proceeds will be split between our nonprofit Just In Power Kids and the development of my new weather website. That has been scheduled to be ready to launch in May.
