Thursday May 13
High Pressure is in control and that big blue H on the map often relates to a blue sky. We will have a north wind, keeping us cool and bringing up a few scattered afternoon showers.
Last year on this date, we set the record low of 36ºF in Baltimore. It’s not ‘that’ chilly today but it is cool.

Warm up on the wayTemps aim for 70ºF this weekend, but it will come with the increased risk for showers Sunday and rain on Monday.
But while it is a little quiet, I am testing a few new graphics below.

Weekend Showers?
Scattered showers on Friday and Saturday afternoons, but the chance is 30% or less (most of us remain dry). The rain risk will increase Sunday leading to a wet Monday.
7 Day Forecast: New Graphic
For years I have been showing you a computer model outlook for temperatures, and still have that below. While I have discussed what and when we may see it, I wanted to bring back my own snapshot for you.
This is part of a while new look I will be rolling out very soon as my web site is about to get a major upgrade. Stay tuned…

Sunshine State Of Mind
I am done with the cold and snow (for the season). I am embracing my wife’s mantra of Sunshine State of Mind.
This was designed by Shannon Berk and we will be wearing it through spring and to the beach.
Double Benefit: Proceeds will be split between our nonprofit Just In Power Kids and the development of my new weather website. That has been scheduled to be ready to launch in May.
