Tuesday March 2 2021
We have a clear sky this morning and if you are up early enough it will be lit with a bright Waning Gibbous moon. That ‘light’ theme stays with us with a sunny day and our first 6 PM sunset of the year.
But it will be chilly. Winds arrived later yesterday and dominate this morning. It will settle down this afternoon, with the latest cold core remaining. Hang in there, the rest of the week will be dry with a boot of temps tomorrow.

Looking Ahead: Weather Animation Through Friday
Do you recall that system that we expected on Wednesday? Last week I showed models first brining us the chance for snow, then it shifted the snow to coastal North and South Carolina.
This is why I DO NOT TRUST model forecast one week away… Here we see a simple rain event, staying well south of us. We will get some cloud, and a return of chilly air as a result of this.
The moral of this tale: With so many fluctuations in March, if you hear of a big storm with snow one week away from any source, take that with a grain of salt.
