Monday December 7 2020
There are flurries and light snow on the radar this morning. In this cold air mass, the northern edge of a weak weather system is producing some snow flakes across Maryland from the mountains, parts of central Maryland and the Lower Eastern Shore.
Doppler Radar has shown separate areas of snow, which may be enough for ambience or even a light coating on the cars. The best chance for stickage on the grass will be in the mountains around Cumberland and in southern Maryland.
Morning Doppler Radar Snapshots
At 6 AM, flurries were showing up near Mt. Airy, Damascus, and across parts of Montgomery and Howard Counties.
Light snow and some stickage in the mountains between Cumberland, and Hancock. This may include some stickage on the roads through Rocky Gap and Sideling Hill.
A little earlier at 5:30 AM, light snow was on radar near Salisbury on the Lower Eastern Shore. This is where more is expected this morning.
