Weather October 23 Big Change This Weekend

When you step outside this morning it will seem like the weather is on repeat. There is another Dense Fog Advisory for much of the region. We remain stuck under this air mass that is warm and humid for mid autumn. Again, the fog will burn off and bring another warm afternoon.

But much colder air is on the way. We will get a taste of it by Sunday. Then as another round of snow develops in the middle of the nation, we will get in on a few rain days and much colder air next week.

Morning Set Up

We remain on the warm and humid side of things for two more days. Snow developing in the central US, and the first taste of chilly air reaches us Sunday.

Dense Fog Advisory

Like prior mornings, some areas may hold the fog up to noon. But it will break again for another warm afternoon.

Quick Forecast

The transition over the weekend. Another warm day on Saturday back in the 70s. The winds shift on Sunday. Periods of showers and temps stuck in the 50s all afternoon. That’s a drop of 20 degrees, and you will feel it.

Sunday Morning

Periods of rain showers starting in the morning. This will not be a steady all day washout, but it will be cooler and damp all day.

The cold air will develop snow and sleet in the southern plains and even Texas. It will pump up rain across the eastern US for a few days!
