A Dense Fog Advisory is in place again for much of the region. The fog began to form shortly after sunset last evening. This morning many areas in central Maryland and southern PA have near Zero visibility. It is so thick in some places, it’s more like a heavy mist and you will need your windshield wipers.

This will slowly burn off, and bring yet another warm afternoon.

The Dense Fog Advisory shown below lasts until 10 AM. But like yesterday, some areas may get that extended to noon.

Visibility

The thicker fog is where the numbers are in red and purple. Many areas under 1 mile!

The worst fog appears to be near BWI, Howard County, and north of Baltimore. This will be dangerous along I-95, the Baltimore Beltway, and southern PA.

A large area along the east coast with dense fog.  The light easterly winds has brought persistent rain into Florida. We will get the warmer winds again this afternoon.

Another early season storm across the Dakotas, heading into the Great Lakes.
