Severe Storms Today
An outbreak of severe storms today will be across the southern plains states. There will be enough energy with a cluster of late day showers to possibly develop into isolated severe storms. This is plotted below in a radar simulation. But main energy appears to be between Washington and Baltimore.
The weather map this morning shows a weather pattern with a front draped right on over our region. This will wonder north and south for a few days and be a focus for developing showers. The net result will be one chilly day, the warm air train to fight back, and periods of rain that will grow more intense into the weekend.
