Sunday April 28 2019

We really have had almost every type of weather in the past few days. On Friday we had severe storms and tornado warnings. Saturday was a wind advisory. This morning, you will see snow not too far away on the map in northern PA. We won’t get in on that, but we will have rain showers, and possibly the last frost or freeze of the season in northern Maryland and southern PA.

  • Today: Morning showers then an afternoon T’storm possible
  • Tonight: Colder! Frost or freeze possible inland north and west. City and Bay areas will be closer to 40ºF
  • Most of next week: Shower chance Tuesday through Saturday

Morning Set Up

Temperatures

Morning Radar

Showers are losing some intensity, but still impressive with heavy rain entering York PA, and in Maryland from Frederick to Westminster.  There will be enough for metro areas to get damp for a few hours.

Afternoon High Temperatures

I am not sure the 70s will reach Baltimore, but look at how much colder it will be just north of York PA. That chilly air is heading our way tonight.

Chance of Frost or Freeze?

Monday Morning

The best risk of frost or freeze will be in the same normally colder areas that get more snow in winter. Just west and north of the Baltimore beltway.

Next Week: Rain Chance Tuesday Through Saturday
