Saturday January 19 2019
There is a change with this storm and as I write think I realize it should have been anticipated. Do you remember me pointing out the northward shift with the last few events? That is what I believe we have now. In fact, you may have already realized it as well. If you have heard about the temps for the AFC Championship Game in Kansas City, they are not expected to be as cold as first thought. We still have Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories in place. But with temps not as cold this morning and a later arrival, think most of us will end up with more rain, less snow and ice today. Tomorrow, we are still on for the flash freeze.
Quick Storm Cast:
- Saturday Morning: Dry
- Saturday Afternoon: Some showers may mix with snow or sleet.
- Saturday Evening: Main event arrives 4 to 8 PM. Most of the area will be above freezing. Still need to watch norther zones for sleet or snow mixing in and temps bordering with freezing.
- Saturday Night: Heavy Rain!
- Sunday Morning: Freezing Line races in with Flash Freeze
- Sunday Noon: Freeze reaches the city and moves towards the Delmarva afternoon.
