The latest storm has moved on and the cold air is moving in. There is a Freeze Warning for Maryland around the Chesapeake Bay and down towards Ocean City tonight into Sunday morning. But it will feel like freezing for many others all day. The coldest air of the season is racing in on strong winds. Gust over over 30 mph this morning are ushering in the winter chill. The bright spot is that there will be sunshine and we will hold off the next rain until Monday night and Tuesday.

Snapshot
The precise track will determine where the heaviest rain will fall and where the snow may set up. At this point, the track appears to keep the snow well west, but I think this may shift back east and speed up a little just like the past few events we have had.
Rainfall Potential
There will be a sharp increase to the heaviest rain from 1 to nearly 4 inches in Southern Maryland.
