Thursday September 27 2018
A Flood Watch is in effect through Friday morning. We are not done yet with the rain as the front which brought severe thunderstorms last night is still in the area. It will be a chilly day with most of the area remaining in the 60s. We will have many dry hours as showers will be scattered. But they will increase this afternoon. A wave of Low Pressure will bring rain back from south to north today. Heavy rain will arrive tonight from the mountains with possible thunder and additional flooding. Overall we see potential for 1 to 2 inches of rain, but the ground is soggy and the water levels are already high. So it will not take much to bring on flooding.
