September 28 2018

Great News! After an excessively wet month including more than an additional inch + of rain in this last event, we dry out for the weekend. In fact clearing is showing up on the satellite. After a damp and clouds morning, the afternoon will bring the sun back and take us through the weekend. The few days ahead will be mild in the afternoon sun (yes, I said sun), and chilly in the morning. Classic Autumn weather. Our next chance of rain shows up as afternoon showers twice next week.

Note: Flood Warnings have been canceled this morning, but there may be some high water left on a few roads. Many schools will have mud on the playground (depending on their draining). My son’s outdoor event at his school was postponed until next week just to be safe.

I am working on the rain stats to answer numerous questions submitted. This includes is all this rain will have any impact on snow this winter.  I do not want to let that data get lost as nice weather arrives. So after reading this, please let me know if its better to post that this afternoon or Sunday evening.

The lack of green is a good thing. There are two times next week that may bring in showers:  Tuesday afternoon/evening and Thursday afternoon/evening.
