Wednesday August 1 2018

We started the month with early morning showers and as a result it feels a bit muggy this morning. She areas once again have fog that will be slow to burn off, but we will get some breaks of sun to help boost temperatures back into the mid 80s.  The unstable air will help spark strong storms this afternoon and some may turn severe. The risk of large hail, damaging winds, and an isolated tornado are primarily just west along the mountains. But this needs to be watched between 4 PM and 9 PM.

More showers, mainly in the afternoons over the next few days. There is a sign of some improvement by Sunday with our next all dry day.  Next week, the pattern does look less wet, but the heat may return with a chance of reaching the 90s again.
