We are in a pattern with very different weather each day. Severe storms erupted with large hail on Thursday, but we get in on the more pleasant set up today. A lingering cold front separating the summer heat to the south will remain nearby and fuel more showers and storms over the weekend. This could bring us record heat Saturday and more showers with a cool down for Mothers Day… only to heat back up next week. Let’s start with a brief recap.
Trivia Note: Today – May 11 is the latest date for snow in Baltimore. It was back in 1951 with a trace. But there is a mistake on the record books. I will have more on this later in hopes to get it fixed.
Hail Reports
Large Hail erupted on radar around 6 PM Thursday May 10 across York County PA. This begin around Glen Rock and grew moving southeast to Stewartstown. The cell and then crossed into northern Hartford and Cecil Counties.

This animation shows the front and lingering threat of showers all day. There may be some embedded storms. At this point I would advise agains outdoor plans. We may get some dry hours, but will doge rain showers at any time.
I am sorry
