The snow appears to be here already on Doppler Radar. There may be some virga so that not all is reaching the ground. The darker back is moving up the Bay to the northeast in the direction of the storm path, but the entire snow field is spreading north and northwest. Needless to say, the snow will continue to built in overnight as we get clipped by the back edge of a large coastal storm. The timeline for the snow below shows a sharp cutoff to the west, and it tapering off during the morning. The worst part will be around daybreak, so many schools that already delayed their start time will be justified.

While snow amounts are the biggest question, I see the wind, blowing snow, and cold air as main concerns during the day. Here is the quick break down. I will be up at 2 AM for calls with my clients working the storm. I will post overnight as well if you are awake.

East Gets The Beast, Less West
Here is my latest snow-cast
Please note that a shift of 50 miles west could double your snow totals, while a 50 mile shift east can cut them in half or off all together.
