Monday November 13

The rain overnight is just moving out this morning. The back edge has slowed a little reaching the Bay, but it will break up and move out this morning. Just some wet roads as the chilly air is in the upper 30s. As expected, we remained above freezing. There was snow showing up in northern PA and parts of New York. It is getting closer…. But for this round, we get to focus on a little warm up.

This week will be mostly quiet and mild for November.. but the next storm lines up with the weekend. That will be followed by even colder air and setting up the stage for a cold Thanksgiving week. Here’s the breakdown:

Stats For November 13

Record High:  77ºF in 1955

High Temperatures Today

Forecast Animation:

Some light showers might reach up Wednesday night, but the system will break up over the mountains. The next storm arrives Friday night into Saturday and will bring more heavy, chilly rain. This is the pattern changer that will be followed by colder air and perhaps some flurries or snow showers into the start of Thanksgiving Week.
