Tuesday September 26

The day starts warm and muggy again, but temps will be a little cooler as the air mass is breaking down. We will notice the cool down beginning Thursday and really feel I this weekend. Off of the coast, Hurricane Maria is also breaking down with winds of 75 mph and staying farther east. The tropical storm wind field is 240 miles wide, so the surf will be high. Ocean City can expect winds over 30 mph but more beach erosion is the worst they will get out of this.

The forecast track for Maria is verifying the computer model bias and staying well offshore. This adjustment to the east in the final 2 days of expected tracking near shore is what Irma had shown us (hitting east of Key West and final track into Florida).
