RadarTue Apr5April 5 2016 – Just a day after temperatures reached the 70s and multiple rain delays ultimately leading to the Orioles walk off win on Opening Day, this morning has freezing air and snow departing southern Maryland. Flurries are still flying west of Baltimore and Washington. Heck, the openers in New York and Boston were postponed for snow. Yes, the winter pattern is back and there is more to come. Wind chills are in the teens this morning  and we will struggle to reach the mid 40s. Average high today should be 61ºF. Tonight qe have a Freeze Warning state-wide east of the mountains into Wednesday morning. There is even another chance of snow this weekend.

Faith in the Flowers For Lexi Hack (Free Shipping)

LexiandJustinFarmers are in trouble this week and it may seem like spring might not get it, but it will. That is why we encourage Faith in the Flowers. This campaign including shirts, eco-friendly tote bags, and bracelets is for 16 year old Lexi Hack who will be having her 5th and final surgery 1-Week from today. We want you to support her effort to raise money for Save a Limb Fund at Sinai Hospital covering her costs.

My goal is to have as many as possible wearing her shirt when she returns back to school. If you can round up your co-workers again and order this week, you should get your gear in time to wear to welcome her back. If you order 10 or more items, there will be free shipping and we can still maximize what is added to her fundraiser. Please see this link for the options and ordering.

Snow Chance This Weekend?

The Canadian Model performs best in arctic patterns and is most aggressive with this next system on Saturday. This shows the steady snow very close to the Maryland line with southern Pennsylvania getting a wintry day. Flurries should fly into central Maryland but don’t expect much stickage.

Temperature Outlook

The pattern remains chilly into next week, but then we should turn to corner back to ‘normal’ mid April
