Game Day Weather: Rain Delay Possible For Orioles

Game Day Weather: Rain Delay Possible For Orioles

April 4 2016 – The start of the 2016 baseball season is here, but it is early April in Baltimore so anything is possible with the weather. It seems like we will get just about everything today. After starting in the 30s, there will be a surge of warm air that could boost temperatures to the 70s by noon. But that will also come with some rain and wind during the afternoon. Yet another strong cold front will arrive and this could impact the opening day game. There is a chance for thunder, as well as strong winds for a few hours. Then colder air tonight brings a Freeze Watch into southern Maryland. So dressing in layers that you will take off and carry, only to put back on again.

World Series Win?

Here is a quick look at the timeline. Please make sure to check back here after 10 AM as I will show why weather history points to the Orioles wining the World Series this year. It’s all in the numbers.

Simulated Radar:

The cold front should arrive in Baltimore between 3 and 5 PM
