Best Baltimore Weekend Sunrise Photos And Time Lapse Videos

Baltimore and much of our region had fantastic weather Thanksgiving week. Some will complain it’s too warm for the season or anxiously awaiting snow (like me), but it has been beautiful. I am thankful for all of the talented people who have braved the clock and elements to wake up early and capture sunrise. Over the weekend there was something special by the water. Tim Shahan is one of our favorites, and he captured this reflection of the clouds over the still water just as the rising sun was illuminating the deck. The Saturday morning surroundings were bathed in orange, yellow, and purple as seen here.

The benefit of getting outside at the right time, waiting for nature to develop, and knowing what settings to have ready for the camera is seen here. Check out the same view, just a few minutes earlier with a lot more red and purple due to more refraction from the pre-dawn sun over the horizon.

I am so anxious to share this with you, as I’ve already waited a day. But Tim shared this other picture as an absolute tease. He was out recording for a time lapse video. But he does need to work his magic on his computer to prepare it the right way. So we need to wait for that, but I am certain it will be spectacular. But to prove his talent.
