It is my pleasure to debut one of three new designs for our Faith in the Flakes shirts: The Maryland Flag. I wanted to share this today on Small Business Saturday because showing off your love of snow with this will support two local businesses: Mine and my new partner Ink Splash in Westminster. It has been important to me to stay local while branching out my snowflakes. Making shirts can be complicated especially with multiple color prints. Selling them online is even more challenging. But Marianne’s Ink Splash in Westminster has been wonderful rushing to get this ready this weekend.

Faith in the Flakes was an expression that came from a discussion with my oldest son many years ago. When my boy was 2 years old, he was really excited for a snowstorm I expected. The storm didn’t happen. Go figure, my son’s first experience with his dad and a meteorologist not being perfect! But I told him it would snow again. He had to believe. Have faith. Have faith in the flakes. We got our snowstorm a week later.

Maryland Flag Flake: Our small state with a big feel! The variety of terrain from the mountains, big city, across the bay, to the ocean is culture, and a big player in our weather. The state can behave like one in the northeast or a southern belle in winter. But if you love snow and search for it in every storm, show it off with your Maryland pride.
The original design plus two others are available, but in the rush, some of the items are not complete. We will be adding some colors, expanding ladies styles, and they should all be available in the online store Monday. Also, while we do have ladies cut shirts, we are planning on adding a size chart which was a popular request last year.
My favorite… This is a Next Level triblend, I know it is a T-shirt for winter, but it is sooooo soft!
