During a ground stop at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International, Jack Perkins peaked out his window and recorded video of the line of planes stacked up on the runway. During his pan of the traffic jam, a lightning bolt struck nearby 737 Delta Air Lines Flight 67 which was en route to Las Vegas. No one was injured, as planes are designed to carry the electricity around the cabin in flight. Still an incredible capture. See it along with slow motion replay below. It has already been viewed over 1 million times on Youtube.
