I think I saw the word ‘redonkulous’ used a few times with the storm clouds on Tuesday August 11 in Ocean City. I have to say, it fits. The timing was right with an evening storm and the cool push of air ahead of the shelf cloud that more clouds appears to form like teeth on a comb or rake over the Atlantic. Check out the time lapse video and then 11 photos that show the variety of weather that surprised many vacationers. I spent the day in the mountains on my Trek Across Maryland, so I missed this first hand. Today is Day 4 between Fredrick and Elkridge, so I am sorry for limited weather updates this week. You can track my team on our Trek page. We will arrive at the Inlet in Ocean City around on Saturday around 3 PM. Let’s hope for better weather than this.
