Tuesday September 21 2021

Today is the last full day of summer. The Autumnal Equinox is Wednesday afternoon, and that transition to a new season will come with rain for us this go around. Then it will be followed by cool temps into the weekend.

Full Moon

Our Harvest Moon ‘photobombed’ but a jet, was captured Monday before the clouds filled in. Thank Christopher Mowry.

Morning Surface Weather

A complicated looking map, but the simplicity is this: A south to southeast wind will bring in more moisture. More clouds will dominate our sky today.

Rain Timeline

The persistent south to southeasterly flow will bring in the first showers Wednesday morning, while steady rain will fall in the mountains.

Slowly that line of rain will expand and shift east. We get in on the main action Wednesday night through Thursday.
