Wednesday September 8 2021

The humidity will be noticeable today. Despite more schools back in session, it will feel very summer like today.  That heat and humidity will break with a cold front, and you will notice the improvement tomorrow.

Morning Surface Weather

The cold front in the Mid West will approach later today. Scattered showers develop this afternoom, with a line of strong to severe storms erupting this evening and tonight.

Note: This model has consistently underplayed storms and timing.  Please consider that there may be more activity than shown here, and the timing could be 1 to 2 hours earlier.

I will have an update during the afternoon that may help fine tune the expectations.
