Thursday May 6
The weather pattern has flipped back to early spring conditions. Afternoon temperatures will be average 10 degrees below average and we may still see frost inland over a few mornings.
Within this pattern, we have more rain as well. This includes Friday and Mother’s Day afternoons. See the forecast maps below.

Saturday Morning Frost?
After the showers pass, temps may drop into the 30s inland west of the cities.
Looking Ahead: Saturday Afternoon to Monday
Saturday Afternoon: Rain Showers.
The next push of rain is expected to build in Sunday afternoon and lasts into Monday. That means Mother’s Day may start dry, but ends wet and chilly. Some suggestions that temps drop into the 50s with this rain arriving.
Temperature Outlook
If you live inland from Baltimore and Washington, pay attention for potential frost both Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Overall, the next week or two look to be below normal.
Sunshine State Of Mind
I am done with the cold and snow (for the season). I am embracing my wife’s mantra of Sunshine State of Mind.
This was designed by Shannon Berk and we will be wearing it through spring and to the beach.
Double Benefit: Proceeds will be split between our nonprofit Just In Power Kids and the development of my new weather website. That has been scheduled to be ready to launch in May.
