It is humid this morning. After reaching the upper 80s yesterday and rain overnight, this morning the weather is a bit sticky. Most of this early batch of rain is moving out.
Severe Thunderstorm Risk: Today
This afternoon, some showers will develop but strong to severe thunderstorms are possible near metro Baltimore northward along and north of the PA line.
Yellow: Slight Risk for any thunderstorm to turn severe. Potential hazards include damaging wind, large, hail, and an isolated tornad0.
High Wind Watch: Tomorrow
As cooler air builds in for the weekend, we will have strong winds Friday with gusts to 50 mph.
Morning Surface Weather
A long line of storms drapes across the US from Ohio to Texas. This will weaken as it reaches our region, but still worth watching.
