Saturday April 10 2021
The strong storm that erupted across central Maryland Friday afternoon was a bit of a surprise. In addition to producing hail and followed by double rainbows, it saturated the air.
Many areas start the morning with fog, mist, or just a blanket of low clouds. Some breaks of sun possible today, then we watch for two bands of rain. First, overnight, then a line of strong storms Sunday afternoon. Those storms will be fed by a warmer and more humid day tomorrow.
Morning Surface Weather
The foggy areas are mainly where the cluster of storms passed. But large blanket of clouds along with cool air covers most of the region.
Strong to severe storms will pound the southeast US., but the complex frontal boundary will expand the rain and storms our way tonight and later on Sunday.

Sunshine Sate Of Mind
I am done with the cold and snow (for the season). I am embracing my wife’s mantra of Sunshine State of Mind.
This was designed by Shannon Berk and we will be wearing it through spring and to the beach.
Double Benefit: Proceeds will be split between our nonprofit Just In Power Kids and the development of my new weather website. That has been scheduled to be ready to launch in May.
