Friday November 6 2020
A Dense Fog Advisory has been issued for southern Maryland, but the low visibility is more widespread. This is one of those mornings that may seem fine, but if you commute could quickly end up driving into one of those ground clouds.
Here was the visibility at daybreak. The sharp contrast to fog seen in red is in Baltimore and around the Bay to Delmarva.
Dense Fog Advisory
The counties included here leave out places near the Bay Bridge and Baltimore. So be alert if this is part of your travels this morning until about 9 AM.

Morning Surface Weather
When we have high pressure in control and warming air during autumn, this allows more moisture in the air. The longer nights let that moisture condense, developing low clouds and fog.
This will burn off for afternoon sun and warming again.
Baltimore hit 71ºF yesterday.
This pattern should repeat for a few days.
