October 7 Weather First Forecast And Climate Data

Warm winds will get many in our region close to 80ºF today. This will be our warmest day of the week. Meanwhile, Major Hurricane Delta is making landfall near Cancun, and will continue to be a headline as it crosses into the Gulf of Mexico then heads towards Louisiana. We will get rain from that system here by the end of the weekend.

Morning Set Up

The winds will help to push warmer air into our region today. While we aim for near 80ºF, the humidity will not be high. Also winds will be 15 to 25 mph, so it will not feel that warm. This may also be a challenge for pick riding or running.
