Severe Thunderstorm Watch For PA But Simulation Points Concern To Maryland As Well

A cold front will bump into the hot and humid air we have in place today and this evening. A line of strong and severe thunderstorms will develop in central PA this afternoon and drop south into Maryland through this evening. This will be a fast moving line capable of producing storms with dangerous lightning, flash flooding, large hail, and isolated tornadoes.

Severe Thunderstorm Watch:

The National Weather Service has issued this ‘Watch’ until 9 PM for much Pennsylvania, but the modeling indicates concerns will extend into Maryland. I have seen many days this summer when storms over achieve and arrive a little earlier than expected. So what I show here is a guide, but please consider the reach of this storms beyond the advisory issued (at the time of this post).
