This is going to go down as the hottest month on record for Baltimore and many other locations. But we end the month today with a refreshing rain and much cooler air. Rain will be moderate at times, as intermittent showers will continue into the afternoon, then gradually end from north to south.
This weekend remains somewhat humid so showers and storms remain a risk. The main focus will be shifting to Hurricane Isaias. Winds are up to 80 mph this morning and the track takes it up the east coast early next week. See more below.

Forecast Track Cone
The general idea is for a direct hit on the Bahamas but the core remaining east of Miami and Florida. There will be storm surge and rough water.
There could be a hit on OBX, but the center of this cone is east of Ocean City. The trend has been for each new forecast to shift on the right side of the cone.
