Sunay April 26 2020
Double Barrel storm is the best way to describe the weather in the eastern US today. This is a complex system with two areas of Low Pressure. The first one has been responsible for the overnight and early morning rain. There will be some showers lingering, but a few dry hours today as well. It will be more wet across the northern and western part of our region. Central and southern Maryland could get a fee breaks of sun.
The next push will be a band of rain by evening and overnight with the second part. This should last overnight and wrap up Monday morning. Then more rain as we can’t shake the pattern next week.
Morning Surface Weather
Periods of rain, drizzle, and fog across much of our region to start the day. One system will be swinging north, while the second piece will arrive tonight from the west.
Morning Satellite Loop
4 Hours ending at 8:30 AM
Morning Radar SnapShot
Bands of rain and showers continue to spread north through our region. This will end sooner in southern Maryland, but last to noon in central Maryland and Southern PA
