Did the thunder wake you up overnight? The line of storms did not disappoint and dropped hail in some spots. This morning strong winds will gusts between 35 and 45 mph across the region. Some wind restrictions are possible on area bridges and worth checking on. The Wind Chill will be noticeably, so consider for dressing for what feels like a cold winter day.

Mountain Snow
Traveling to Garrett County, western PA or WV will take you into winter. An average of 3 to 6 inches of new snow is expected and it will stick on the roads slowing travel.

The upper level disturbance may bring snow showers or flurries into Central Maryland. This will not be a big deal, but is our last chance to avoid a snow-less February.
