Friday February 21 2020
It’s cold this morning! Most of the region is starting with temperatures in the teens and 20s. But that southern storm is moving off of the coast, and what was left behind does not appear to be causing much of a problem on the roads. I had mentioned in my last report that the warm ground would eat into snow totals. It did. Snow did reach in to Southern Maryland and left a coating last night, but much has already melted.
Raleigh, NC ended up with 2.5 inches of snow. They officially have more than Baltimore and Washington ‘combined’.
Below you can see the road conditions if you are traveling to Virginia or North Carolina.
