Tuesday February 18 2020
The weather pattern this morning is bringing snow to central Pennsylvania and New York. But that is north of our region. We will have some sprinkles this morning, then rain moves in during the afternoon and evening. The bulk of this rain will pass Delmarva tonight and be gone tomorrow.
Two cold days will follow, only to have more mild weather return this weekend. Winter is not done yet, but the time is running thin. I am working on a report for you about the chances any winter making a visit this year. There are statistics to support snow in March and I will focus on that later.

Looking Ahead:
A southern storm may be getting lost in the modeling. The suggestion of snow for North Carolina to lower Delmarva is still showing up on the Canadian Model, but barely flurries on the European. Let’s see how the new morning package displays this before holding on or letting this go.

Our two cold days will be Thursday and Friday. Temps likely to stay in the 30s. The southern storm appears to be passing by early Friday morning. After it passes, the return to mild weather arrives this weekend and next week.
