Tuesday February 4 2020
After breaking an 88 year old record high on Monday with a high of 67ºF in Baltimore, we will remain mild while getting into a wet pattern. The trend will be showers for the next two days, then heavier rain on Thursday into Friday morning. Colder air will try to sneak in briefly Thursday morning and bring an ice issue close to our north end. But the real shocker may be the suggestion of snow on Sunday in this warm pattern.

Afternoon Temperatures
Afternoon Rain
Not a washout, but periods of rain through the day.
Rainy Pattern This Week
Wednesday
Showers will slip south.
Thursday
Out heaviest rain will be Thursday afternoon and night.
Friday
Rainy morning, then turning colder as the storm pulls away. Snow returns to western Maryland and some flakes may chase the end of this in the colder central Maryland/Southern PA suburbs.
Sunday Snow?
The European Model here is most aggressive with a punch of snow Sunday morning. Many models agree with this system but the track and snow band vary. As with the rest of the season, I do NOT put much weight in mid range modeling, so we will continue to watch this for likely adjustments.
