Friday January 31 2020
It is the end of January and there is a storm along the Gulf Coast. Under normal circumstances this would hint at a winter storm. But this is not a normal winter. That storm will do what I suggested all week, and track closer to us. However, the timing brings in showers tonight, NOT Saturday. Also, there is NO COLD AIR! So rain is what we can expect, then watch that storm move off the coast and get stronger as it moves farther away.
What is inevitable is the jet stream will now have a chance to relax once again. That will bring in a few days next week with temperatures in the 60s. It does seem like a winter with no winter. But February is just getting started (tomorrow).
