Thursday January 23 2020
At first place, the weather map this morning would appear to bring us snow and and icy mix. But this is not a normal winter. The cold air we have had all week will be retreating to the north, so that system on the way will bring rain. In fact the pocket of cold air we have been tracking all will pass a little farther north. This will keep the snow away from Western Maryland as well. However, there will be some snow returning for them at the end of the weekend.
Locally, this will be a rain event! Just rain and only part of the weekend: Friday night to Saturday morning.
