Saturday January 11 2020
A strong storm will make headlines today with severe weather in the Deep South. We get warm air pumping in our direction that will make it feel like spring. Temps will pump into the 60s today and hold there through tomorrow thanks to strong winds. The part of the storm we get will be a brief band of rain and some thunder before sunrise on Sunday.
Looking ahead, colder air and some hint of winter weather next weekend. It’s too early for specifics, but worth watching at this point for snow and ice to return sooner than you might imagine.
High Wind Watch
Gusts between 50 and 60 mph possible Sunday morning. I expect more counties will be added when upgraded to an advisory.

Temperature Outlook
This product is just for the trend. Farther out in time more average is included that can inflate temperatures more than a cool down will be. So with snow and ice potential next weekend, the highs would more likely be in the 30s, not the 40s shown here.
