Tuesday December 10 2019
Temperatures will be reversed today. We start mild and warm to the upper 50s and near 60ºF by noon, then the colder air spills in with the rain. A cold front be be responsible and more rain is behind the front. It will be tonight when colder air catches up with one more push of energy and changes this over to snow.
There will be enough snow and the freezing line just west of the big cities to impact travel. Snow is likely to fall across most of our area through Wednesday morning, in many places that stay just above freezing.

Temperature Timeline
The warmest part of the day will be by noon, then the rain helps to bring in cooler air and chill down the ground. The freezing line will creep closer, and reach the western suburbs by Wednesday morning (sunrise). A lot of snow will fall with temps above freezing, but it is possible for it to overtake the ground and lead to some road problems.
