Monday October 7 2019
A cold front is on the way, but it will be a slow mover. In the process, central Maryland will warm up today, but rain will slowly arrive from the west. But western and northern hills have already had some showers, and will get more rain out of this event. There is some hope for a coastal storm to try and form mid week and bring more rain back in.
Local Morning Radar
The rain on radar this morning highlights the contrast in our region. Rain in the mountains will continue all day, but get turning north along the front ridge. Gradually showers will develop in metro areas and the front will bring more widespread rain tonight.

Temperature Outlook
Is More Rain Possible?
One of the scenarios mid week, a chance for a storm to develop off of the coast. This could keep the chance for rain to get pushed back in from the ocean.
