Some of the nicest weather is after a hurricane passes. It is dry sinking air on the outer edge of the storm that we get, plus cooler and dry air flowing in from Canada. We will be in a nice weather pattern through the weekend, and might night have a chance for rain until later next week.
Look at the cool 50s this morning. This is thanks to the cool and dry air pulling in behind Hurricane Dorian.
Cool Air Thanks To Hurricane Dorian
Hurricane Dorian is heading into eastern Canada on its trip to the north and it still has punch to it. Top winds are still 85 mph, making this a Category 1 storm. It is rain g to the Northeast at 25 mph. It is expected to make landfall in Nova Scotia this afternoon.
