Tuesday April 16 2019
Yesterday the top wind gust in Baltimore was 49 mph. There was wind damage around the region and a confirmed EF-2 Tornado in Laurel, DE. Today we get a break in the weather and all the April sun to warm us up. While we get a break for a few days, the active spring will continue. We need to track the next storm marching across the nation that will reach us with more storms on Friday: The start of Passover and Good Friday to start the Easter Weekend.
Looking Ahead:
Good Friday may be a stormy day. See more about that potential storm and the wet weekend below.

Temperatures Outlook
WE warm to the 70s Thursday and Friday, then cooler over the weekend. That will be under the influence of the next storm. Eastern Sunday looks chilly with rain. Then a quick warm up again early next week.
Rainy Weekend Starting With Severe Storms?
- The best chance for thunderstorms will be Friday. At this point there is support they will be strong and may push severe limits.
- Rain will linger all weekend. This model shows a break on Saturday afternoon, but I would not lock on that timing yet. It all depends on timing and location of the Low itself.
- Plan for the chance of rain through Sunday.
