Thursday April 11 2019

If we were able to have a conversation I would ask if you wanted the good news or bad news first. I’ll go ahead and start with the good news: We are missing the epic snowstorm hitting the northern US and temperatures will continue to warm into the weekend.  The bad news: The part of that storm that reaches us will be in the form of a front that will stall over the weekend. The result looks to make Saturday more wet. The risk of showers will be with us Sunday, followed by heavier rain into the start of next week. Most of our area is in for between 1 and 2 inches of rain through the event.

Here’s a look at the national radar this morning. Heavy snow continues in the northern US. Some of that appears to be as close as Williamsport PA. But the real snow includes places like Minneapolis.
