Monday March 25 2019

The rain has moved in, for northern and western parts of our area. This is the type of day where the message of a wet day may be deceiving. The band of rain will not be heavy but may be moderate for a few hours this afternoon. It is also clipping Baltimore, but not reaching most of central Maryland south of the city or on the Eastern Shore.

Radar Loop (2 Hours Ending 12:45 PM)

Notes:

The boundary will be ‘near’ I 70 or Howard County. To the north, it will be a wet remainder of the day. This includes Frederick, Carroll, Baltimore, Harford, and Cecil Counties in Maryland. Plus most of Southern PA.

Rainfall should be less than 0.25″, even in the moderate rain zones.

  • The best chance for moderate rain will be between 2 PM and 4 PM… especially north near and north of the PA line.
  • Notice the brief impact of rain around the Baltimore beltway… but not much to the south

Cold Air To Follow AFTER the rain ends

I do not expect icing, expect maybe any moisture left of your car.  The ground should still be too warm, until it dries out.
