March 15 2019
This morning may feel like spring or even summer depending on your location. Temperatures range form the mid 50s to mid 60s, thanks to warm winds ahead of that massive storm that has crossed the nation. As expected, the line of severe weather in Ohio has fallen apart overnight, but it helped to pump in the warmer air.
This front will get more active later today, but timing is everything. We should warm a little more to feed the beast, but the location of the front when it gets active may be just south and east of Baltimore.

Severe Storm Outlook
The simulation timeline slider below shows the action later this afternoon and this evening. The prime location will be in southern Maryland, where they have a chance for showers and thunderstorm that may turn severe. The risk is marginal, which means storms will likely be strong, but only a some cells have the chance to reach severe limits: Winds over 58 mph, large hail, or isolated tornadoes.

Weekend: It will be dry, however snow will coat the ground again in Garrett County.
Monday Snow:
There is still a signal that we will have snow falling Monday at sunrise, but temperatures and the ground will be too warm for much to stick.
Temperature Outlook:
If we do have that chance of snow on Monday morning, it will come at the tom of day when temperatures are in the 20s. I’ve highlighted that below. It is March and as we will see today, we can get a big jump to the 40s easily after a cold start.
