Wednesday March 6 2019
Just think, as cold as it is this morning, it was four years ago today when we set the record low temperature for the date. On that day in 2015, BWI dropped to 10ºF. Compare that to the temperatures this morning just missing the mark. At 6 AM it was 20ºF. We have to scroll all the way back to 1935 to find the record high on this date of 76ºF in 1935. Keep dreaming…

But we will have a warm up on the way. Just a little wet snow on Friday and rain Sunday to help usher in temps that may reach the 60s.

Friday: When it may snow
It’s important to note the the snow in the morning looks light. Also, the freezing line does move to the northern suburbs, but also daylight will compete with the snow. It is likely that anything that falls will have trouble sticking to the pavement.
The only trouble I see is in the mountains.
