Another wet start to the weekend but there is some good news here. The bulk of the rain already passed and what we start the day with is more drizzle, mist, and fog rather than heavy rain. There will be some showers that will return and possibly some moderate rain at times, but it will be spotty. The timeline slider below shows the bulk of the rain will be moving out of our region between 3 PM and 5 PM.

The second part of our weekend looks good. Dry weather for Sunday mens sunshine for the Ravens game. Temperatures will remain mild, but it will be breezy. The really cold air is still locked up to our north, but signs of our pattern flipping mid month are still very real.

Here we can see more rain in the mountains on the back side of the Low. This is why rain is likely to pick back up during the day.

Wintry Mix (North) Next Week

The next storm will be lead by a band of ice and some snow with the warm front. This is most likely to impact northern areas near and north of the PA. It appears to be light, but the timing in the evening and at night makes this worth watching.

Ironically this is the leading edge of warmer air, but a sharper cool down will follow the storm for the second half of next week.
