Thursday October 18 2018
It is chilly this morning, but colder air is on the way. We start locally in the mid 40s inland, with 50s by the Bay. Sunshine may be deceiving as temps will struggle as colder winds from the NW will make this day much cooler than ‘normal’ for this date. That will set us up with High Pressure, light winds, and rapid radiational cooling tonight. Friday morning should bring in the 30s to Baltimore for the first time since April 30th (37ºF at BWI). This also means a chance for widespread frost and some places near freezing.
If you are part of the Baltimore Running Festival, I have some good news. While the will be some showers, there is a good chance they will be moving away from the city before sunrise on Saturday. Check the slider below.

Baltimore Running Festival Weather
There will be some morning showers. That raindrop in your app is correct. However, there is a chance it moves south of Baltimore by sunrise. That could leave the ground wet, but the actually running weather looks nearly idea as temperatures will be warming back a little.
